When everyone tries to be really careful about gender nouns and your mother-language is a latin derived one where the ‘it’ doesn’t exist and 'their’ is not neutral so even inanimate objects have genders and you wonder if these issues are something only germanic based countries have.
I struggle to understand why, after 2 years of being corrected, my phone still assumes I meant to type ‘duck’.
